2026 Spiritual Life Program Announced

People say that Silver Lake Institute is a spiritual place. “Spiritual” is something you can’t

describe but you know it when you experience it. It might happen when you’re walking along the lakeshore, or listening to children playing in the park, or sitting on the front porch in the evening, or…

The Spiritual Life team offers Sunday worship opportunities to help you “know it when you see it.” Gatherings take place at 10:30 a.m. every Sunday from July 5 through September 6. We meet along the lakeshore near the blue dock if the weather cooperates and in Hoag if it does not. This year’s theme is “Along the Road Again.” We will focus on people Jesus encountered when he was “on the road:” the disciples, a poor widow, a feisty woman, a wealthy tax collector, and more.

Our speakers will again be men and women from around our community. Each one has different gifts and a unique message for all of us. We will take an offering each week. Half the money will go to the Asbury Retreat Center for their feeding ministry. We will also collect school supplies to be given through Community Action to children in need.

As always, we look forward to an exciting summer as we go “on the road again.”
